To celebrate the release of their new EP entitled December, the Ketch Harbour Wolves managed to pull a sizable crowd out to the El Mocambo. There were both friends and family present, noticeable through their interactions with the band, and through their zealous support of the music. In fact, as the band took the stage, the crowd moved all the way forward and immediately started bouncing and jumping along with the music, sometimes taking time out to let out a yell at the band members to let them know how great they were. I think the enthusiasm was sincere, and it was a pretty decent set. I went to the show because I like the last song on the EP called This Light, but I enjoyed a few of their other songs even more when played live.

Three songs from the EP are available for download from their website (in high quality!), so be sure to visit and find out what Ketch Harbour Wolves is all about. If you like what you hear, why not get out and see them next time they play? It looks like they'll be at the Horseshoe on Friday, August 10th.
